ORLANDO CLINIC UPDATE

It’s time to get registered and reserve your hotel rooms for the Nike Coach of the Year Clinic, Feb. 26 – 28, 2010 here in Orlando at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. Here is some updated information on clinic speakers and their topics that have been added to our agenda, in addition to those listed in our Orlando brochure enclosed. Outstanding High School Coaches Greg Toal, Don Bosco Prep, NJ – National Coach of the Year for USA Today’s National Champions, speaking twice on “The Red Zone and Goal Line Offense” and “Winning with Special Teams”. Dave Wilkerson, OC for South Panola, MS - 6A State Champions…Top 10 in USA Today’s National Rankings, speaking twice on “No Huddle, Up Tempo, Spread Offense” and “Ways to Deal with the Blitz”. Jack Schugars, Hall of Fame Coach at Oakridge HS, Muskegon, MI - 3 Time 5A State Champions, speaking twice on “Oakridge 50 Angle Defense” and “Special Teams…the Little Things that Count”. Other outstanding High School coaches on the agenda include, Mike Bennett HC of Pensacola FL HS State Champions on "40 Eagle-Dead Bolt Defense", Kevin Pettis HC of Deland HS on both his offense and defense, Joe Kinnan HC of Bradenton-Manatee HS on "I-Formation to the Spread, Teaching and Old Dog New Tricks", Randy Coddington, Outstanding California HS Coach, on "Attacking 3-5-3 Defense", and Rick Darlington HC Apopka HS on "Blue Darters Single Wing". Mike London who won the FCS National Title at Richmond in 2008 is the New Head Coach at Virginia. He will speak twice on “Defensive Fronts, Stunts, and Coverages” and “Special Teams, Drills and Techniques”. The new Georgia Tech Defensive Staff will replace Troy State in Break-Out Sessions on the agenda on Saturday night. Regrettably, TCU’s National Coach of the Year, Gary Patterson will not be with us due to an unavoidable conflict. PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW CLINIC SITE AT THE WYNDHAM ORLANDO RESORT. We urge you to register and make your hotel reservations early, as space may be limited. For hotel reservations, call 407-351-2420 and identify yourself as a clinic participant. The special $99.00 rate is for single, double or triple occupancy. Please note the "discounts for advance registration and multiple coaches from the same school when paid by February 23, 2010.
