Rusty Bradley, Head Coach, The Christian Academy of Knoxville
TOPIC:
1.) Developing an Elite Passing QB 2.) Training Receivers 3.) Passing/Catching 101
Rusty Bradley, Head Coach, The Christian Academy of Knoxville Coach Rusty Bradley did not invent the forward pass but you would have a hard time convincing his opponents that he hasn't perfected it at the High School level. After serving on collegiate staffs at Tennessee Tech, Louisiana Tech, Colorado and Indiana, Coach Bradley brought the knowledge he learned at the college level to The Christian Academy of Knoxville and has had amazing success. 7 District Offensive MVP's, 5 All State WR's, 5 All State QB's and this years Mr. Football in the State of Tennesse are proof that the vaunted Warrior passing attack is working. This past season Coach Bradley's starting Jr. QB set state records for; completions, attempts, yards passing with over 5,000, TD passes with 59 and total TD's passing and rushing. In just 5 years as Head Coach of the Warrior football program Coach Bradley has amassed a 50-14 overall record. 2011 saw historic milestones reached by the Warriors as they defeated 7 time consecutive state champion and nationally ranked Alcoa HS twice on their way to the schools first State Championship in the brief 10 year history of the program.
Mark Bradley, Def. Coordidnator and OL coach, The Christian Academy of Knoxville
TOPIC: 1.) Protecting the Spread QB 2.) Zone Blocking Techniques 3.) Developing the Total OL
Mark Bradley, Defensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach, The Christian Academy of Knoxville When Mark Bradley decided to step away from coaching big time college football it wasn't long before his son came calling and got him back on the sidelines. After serving on college staffs at the University of Cincinatti, Rice University, Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee the itch to return to the game and work with his son Rusty (the head Coach at The Christian Academy of Knoxville) was more than he could ignore. Coach Bradley has tutored some of the finest college lineman into professional careers and now brings his extensive knowledge of OL technique to a new breed of players at the HS level. Serving also as the teams Defensive Coordinator, Coach Bradley brings a special toughness to both sides of the ball as evidenced in the Warrior defense's ability to shut down many of the state's most high powered run games and his OL's ability to protect their record setting All-State QB, who found hmself on the wrong side of a QB sack less than 1 time per game in spite of the more than 35 passing attempts per game he averaged.
Neil Blankenship, Defensive Coordinator, Swain County HS, NC
TOPIC: 1.) Using a shade front in the 3-5 Defense 2.) LB play in the 3-5 scheme
They say Defense wins championships! That saying is no truer than at Swain Co. HS in North Carolina. The Maroon Devils are the proud owners of more playoff wins than any other school in North Carolina High School football history. That total rose again this year as Swain Co. captured it's 8th State Title, 3 of those coming with Coach Blankenship on the staff. 2011 proved to be a banner year as Defensive Coordinator for Coach Blankenship. The Maroon Devils gave up less than 12 points per game which is a bit misleading considering most of the points were given up late in games with reserves on the field. Swain County's defense gave up a mere 14 points in the first half this year in it's regular season games. What may be more troublesome to opponents is that over the 5 years that Coach Blankenship has been at the helm of the defense, their defensive statistics keep getting better! And winning state titles runs in the family as Coach Blankenship's wife, Sonya is a state champion volley ball coach as well. Their 3 children, Darren, Cameron and Arizona are getting used to seeing Championship trophies line the mantle at the Blankenship house!
